The deadline for submitting to "Sew Florida" is Friday, December 5.
This exhibition will be juried by GardensArt of the City of Palm Beach Gardens. GardensArt is a unique program that exhibits the work of locally and nationally recognized professional artists and photographers. It was established to increase the opportunities for cultural exchange between artists and the community.
This exhibition is exclusive to the Palm Beach Modern Quilt Guild. If you have never exhibited before, this is a wonderful opportunity!
This exhibition will be hung in the beautiful new community center on Burns Road (directly across the street from City Hall). This facility is used for classes for youth and adults, as well as community events and celebrations. The City of Palm Beach Gardens welcomes submissions of your finest work. There is no specific theme. However there are strict size requirements.
Quilts may not be smaller than 24in x 24in and no larger than 50in wide by 60in long.

Restrictions:
CONTENT: no nudes, religious, suggestive, political or controversial imagery will be admitted.
SIZE: Quilts should be between 24-50 inches wide and 24 - 60 inches long.
If you are entering multiple quilts, you will need to submit a separate form for each quilt.
Notifications will be released by 5pm on Friday, December 19.
Accepted quilts will be hung gallery style (with a wooden slat). Instructions regarding quilt preparation, drop off and more will be sent with acceptance notices.
NOTE: There is no cost for entry into this exhibition. However, if your quilt is accepted, there will be small fee ($10) to cover hanging costs (materials and labor to make each quilt gallery ready per City requirements).
